| 09/14/2023 Arrest for Thefts from Vehicles |

Sheriff Boyd would like to announce on 09/12/2023, an arrest was made in reference to the multiple thefts from vehicles that have occurred in the Cassville/Hilltop area. Monte Lucas, 23 was arrested by the Barry County Sheriff's Office in connection to the thefts from vehicles. During Lucas's arrest property was located from multiple thefts in the Cassville/Hilltop area. Lucas is currently being held in the Barry County Jail on a NO BOND warrant for Stealing-$750 or more. Other criminal charges will be sought pending further investigations.
