Jail Correctional Officer 

The Barry County Sheriff's Office currently has openings for full-time correctional officers. Applicants must be self-motivated and capable of working with others, be able to multi-task as well as possess basic typing and computer skills.  All applicants must have high school diploma or GED equivalent and be able to pass a background check and a drug test.  Must be able to work nights and weekends.  Starting salary 12.50 Hr.  Barry County also provides a benefit package which includes paid employee health insurance, CERF Retirement Benefits, paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays and paid vacation leave after 1 year.  Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
