Five Arrested on Drug Charges

Barry County Sheriff Mick Epperly would like to announce that five individuals were arrested on July 16, 2013,  27 year old Kevin B. Sojak of Aurora, 19 year old Devin Rust of Monett, 31 year old Casey Myers of Monett, 32 year old Jared Utter of Monett, and 26 year old Orville Miller of Monett have been charged with a Class B Felony of Distribution of a Controlled Substance. Marijuana, methamphetamines, and controlled pharmaceuticals were purchased by an undercover Missouri State Patrol Officer.  The five individuals are all from the Monett area and have been under investigation for over a year now.  This was a cooperative effort between the Barry County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Southwest Missouri Drug Task Force, and the Monett Police Department stated Sheriff Epperly.  According to Sheriff Mick Epperly, more arrests are forthcoming.
