Sheriff Mick Epperly
Term: 1996-2016

Sheriff Epperly was born May 23, 1955. He graduated from Cassville High School in 1973. He is the son of Olen and Jewel Epperly. He married Anna Clark on November 27, 1976. He has one son, one daughter and 3 grandchildren.

Sheriff Epperly has been a life-long resident of Barry County.  He is a graduate of Missouri Law Enforcement Academy at Missouri Southern in Joplin. He has 21 years of Law Enforcement experience and is on his Fourth term for Sheriff.

Mr. Epperly has been a member of Central Crossing Fire Department for 28 years. Mr. Epperly is also a board member for several committees including 911, Missouri Southern Law Enforcement Training, and Child Advocacy Center in Monett. He is a past Board Member for Missouri Sheriff's Association-Zone 14. Mr. Epperly is also the Board Chairman for the Southwest Missouri Drug Task Force.  Mr. Epperly has set on the Missouri Training Board in Joplin, MO.

Mr. Epperly is a cattleman and farmer, Life time Republican, and is a member of Church of Christ.
